Before mo i-pursue ang relationship mo sa tao,

i-pursue mo muna ang relationship mo kay Lord.

Dahil ‘pag si Lord ang inuna mo, tiyak na the best ang ibibigay Niya sa iyo!

~ Christian Jay

Always wear the sweetest smile and don't let your mind be troubled by unnecessary thoughts.

Surrender your heart and mind fully to the Lord and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He will surely direct your paths.

You are deeply loved, highly favored, and a precious jewel to His sight.

~ Divine

How it all began...

For all those who have questions in mind, how we meet.

Don't let yourself be troubled, ask right away! (Just kidding.)

Let me tell you our story...

In 2020, my cousins and I, together with our friends Marinelle and JC went to Tagaytay City. As a girl who loves to take a selfie, Marinelle and I overload our phones with selfies. Marinelle posted our picture on her Facebook timeline and got the attention of CJ (my fiancé).

He commented on the post and the introduction of me happened during their exchange of messages. Past forward... My fiance and Marinelle scheduled a friendly meetup with me, agreed by our friends and cousins. We are 7 in total in the group and we are all treated by the groom to be. How generous of him! HAHA

(My impression of him is good. He looks very kind and thoughtful. But I don't see him in my future. In short, he is not my type! LoL)

Remember this picture and the verse?

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in his time.

(This is part of our first meeting together, as we ended the night with sweet refreshments.)

Our next meetup happened when he introduced his air-conditioning business to me.

As a lady who loves "rakets", I wanted to know the details of the part-time job he was offering. If you're wondering why there are a total of three people in this picture, it is because I don't want to meet him alone.

Better than safe than sorry. Haha! We finished the food, but the business transaction did not happen.

Once again, little did I know it was a love transaction and not a business one. LOL

During the pandemic days, transportation was so limited.

Me and my friend need to take a special trip so we can go home on time. But do you know what happens next?

The soon-to-be groom seems to have brought their car.

(Pa-impress yarn?)

Divine's first POV. (Me and my mind)

When he offers a ride for my friend and me in the terminal, he is a good person, but if not, he is not!!!

~End of POV.

CJ did offer a ride, not to the terminal but to my friend's house. Just WOW!

(And I was not convinced, I was like...

Okayyy! Maybe he is trying to show off. HAHA)

This picture is evidence of Dunkin becoming DUNKIN KA LANG! Haha

I was at work when someone called me and asked me to go down because he had brought me a bundle of sweet munchkins.

Of course! It was him (CJ), but believe me or not, I hated him for that because I don't really like him! Hahaha

I was like, “Why are you giving me this during working hours?”

I don’t want to go down, but Doc Mau insisted on giving me a short break to face him. But I didn't follow!

He went upstairs and rang the doorbell, and I was like, Am I going to open this or not?! But, of course, I did. I opened and shut the door at once. Silly of me! (He rang the doorbell, but I wasn't aware it was my heart's door.)

We continued to go out, and asked my mom for her permission to court me.

These pictures are proof of how genuinely happy I am, whenever I am with him.

Time went by, I got to know him so well and found him attractive because I saw the presence of God inside him.

He was a music director in their church, he was brought to different churches in the Philippines as a representative for a mission, and he was a good brother and son to his siblings and parents. Praises be unto God!

I gave him my sweetest Yes on July 04, 2021. We are in the middle of Quezon Ave., it rains a lot and we are completely soaked.

I whispered to him while on the road, "sinasagot na kita."

He couldn't hear me so I repeated it, yet he still couldn't hear me. So I leaned forward and shouted "sinasagot na kita" in the middle of the road. LoL HAHA

He was genuinely happy and stopped the motorcycle on the side of the road and kept on asking me if it was true. He doesn't believe me, so he still asks me repeatedly and sings happily as if we are the only people on the sidewalk.

What a genuine moment for both of us!

(This picture was our first date officially as a couple. The sky completely gave us the sweetest date ever under her beautiful colors. What a moment to remember!)

We as a professionals.

You as Industrial Engineer and

me as Licensed Professional Teacher.

And the rest is history...

Our love story didn't stop there. He continued to date me and create a beautiful memories each and every day of our lives. He makes me feel loved, appreciated, cheers me up, encourage me, and he help me grow spiritually. So, I reciprocated the love.
